About

The “we” starts with me. 

I’m Molly Bailey. Molly the Maker. A kid from Oregon shaped by the camaraderie of youth sports, courage forged from frequent relocation, and the creativity of a boundless imagination.

Armed with a degree in organizational communication, I jumped into the fire as a Portland Trail Blazers intern, then helped put butts in seats and heads in beds with the Oregon Sports Commission. After that, I worked as a freelance creative supporting brands through strategic marketing, promotion and design — an amazing time that opened a door to joining a new content creation agency and partnering with a range of brands, from Nike to Kickstartering startups.

Then I took a step back to plant Yellow Cactus. 

It feels amazing to be in that spot where what I love meets what I do well  — building (and being a part of) teams that make stories about people who make things. My goal is to do exceptional work that brings out the best in cross-functional creatives as we solve client problems in unexpected ways.
